TANOD
APPREHENDED FOR ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF FIREARM
An alleged
barangay tanod was arrested by the elements of San Pascual Municipal Police
Station and 5RPSM led by PO3 Dan Espinosa at Sitio Ubos, Brgy San Pedro in San
Pascual town.
Reports said,
Edgardo Ablater y Ranzales, 40 years old, married, barangay tanod of said place
was nabbed by the said elements at about 3:15 in the afternoon of January 1,
2011 when they chanced upon the suspect carrying a pistol while at the illegal
cockfighting area.
Recovered from
his possession, control and custody was a .45 pistol bearing serial number
942613, make Caspian, with one piece magazine assembly and five pieces live
ammunition for same caliber.
